The Town Hall Campus school community is one that is rich in diversity, making our school representative of our modern day, multi-cultural society and a wonderful place for our pupils to learn in.
The culture of the school is one that is based on the values of inclusivity, tolerance and respect, and these are values that we will champion to create a culture where children feel happy, safe and valued. We would like to welcome you to Claycots Town Hall Campus and look forward to working in partnership with you and your child on their learning journey.
Our Learning Environment
Pupils are taught in spacious and well-equipped classrooms by extremely dedicated and ambitious teachers. We place huge emphasis on the principles of all staff and children being Ready to learn, Respectful of themselves and their surroundings and feeling and being Safe.
The original building of the Town Hall Campus is steeped in history and maintains some of its more traditional features, whilst the expansion to the school is modern, bright and airy. This £8.2million extension to the Town Hall Campus opened in 2018 and includes 15 new classrooms, a library, a canteen, a sports hall (with professional lighting and sound to facilitate performances) and a home economics room where our pupils are able to prepare and cook food using child-friendly ovens and kitchen equipment.
We are very proud of our learning environment. Our pupils’ behaviour is excellent – they are polite, considerate and respectful of one another and this, alongside the high expectations set by staff, ensures that our environment is one that our pupils can flourish in.
